After a long day in the mansion, she crawled back through the dark shadows. She slunk back through the hole, landing back in the dingy apartment she called home. Looking at the clock, she estimated that her father shouldn't be home for at least another three hours. She sighed, relieved, and started to push a tattered stool up to the highest cabinet. She twisted her tiny body into the opening, and grabbed the funny thing. Adjusting the circles on her head, she waited for the next adventure.
